Teaching Iranian drums is something I've done for more than 30 years. I teach the following drums (through Skype or Google Meet):
The tonbak (Persian goblet-shaped drum, also known as the tombak or the zarb): In Persian art music, the tonbak is the principal percussion instrument.
The dayereh (Persian frame drum) and the ghaval (Azerbaijani medium-sized drum): One of the most prominent drums in Persian folk and art music is the dayereh.
The daf (Persian large-sized drum): In Persian art and folk music, the daf is the most widely used drum after the tonbak.
