Ghaval Solo by Peyman Nasehpour

Azerbaijani dayereh (Azeri dayereh)

Ghaval (also spelled gaval in Azerbaijani Latin alphabets) is the Azerbaijani frame drum. Ghaval - that is called also daf - is the drum that is played by a Mugham singer (Khananda -- a Persian name that means singer) and is an accompaniment for the Azerbaijani traditional ensemble.

Thanks to great efforts of Ostad Latif Tahmasebi-zadeh (my master), it has been believed that it could be played in solo form also.
